"Fame! (They're not going to live forever)"
PLEASE NOTE NEW VENUE INFORMATION:
"Fame! (They're not going to live forever)" will be performed at the Walla Walla Community College Performing Arts and Science Center on Thursday, February 18, at 7:00 p.m. In this highly-entertaining reading series, intimate, private letters, written by some of history’s most famous and infamous people, are read aloud in front of a live audience.
Through the personal letters the audience learns about the high price of fame and how it has both evolved and devolved over the years. A funny, poignant and moving experience with live musical accompaniment and thoughtful imagery.
"Fame!" was created by Letters Aloud, which was founded in 2013 by Paul Morgan Stetler, as a way to connect a live audience to historical figures through their intimate personal correspondence.
Admission is Pay-What-You-Will at the door, with a portion of the proceeds going toward the Brian K. Senter Fine Arts Scholarship Fund.
