Staged Reading: "A Gay SDA Play"
The Works in Progress series features staged readings of works by local authors. "A Gay SDA Play" is a documentary-style play by Bradley Nelson based on real-life interviews. The play explores the intersection of organized religion (Seventh-day Adventism) and individuals who come out in a non-supportive religious environment. The play contains frank discussions of sexuality.
The playwright will be available after the reading for a talk-back/Q&A session.
