Staged Reading: "City of Refuge"
The Works in Progress series features staged readings of works by local authors. First up is: "City of Refuge" by Joshua Haddock. Set in 1982 Belfast, Ireland, the play begins with the murder of a protestant thug, and follows the intertwining lives of two catholic men responsible for his death, and the protestant family sworn to avenge him. The play contains strong language.
The playwright will be available after the reading for a talk-back/Q&A session.
