DESCRIPTION:Ethical and Spiritual Issues in Medicine and Health Care\nThomas R. McCormick\, DMin is Senior Lecturer Emeritus at the University of Washington?s School of Medicine. Dr. McCormick joined the Medical School?s faculty in 1974 to establish the school?s first program in Medical Ethics. From 1985-2001\, he also served as the Director of Counseling for the Medical School. The author of numerous articles and book chapters\, McCormick is frequently in demand as a speaker and trainer on topics related to bioethics. Currently\, Dr. McCormick holds faculty and teaching positions at the University of Washington?s School of Medicine\, Midwestern University School of Medicine (Glendale\, AZ) and at Kyorin University in Hachioji\, Japan.\n\n\n\nIn ?Ethical and Spiritual Issues in Medicine and Health Care\,? Dr. McCormick will introduce participants to the tools and concepts used for ethical decision making in medicine as well as the roles and influences of religion\, culture and spirituality.\nContinuing Education Credit\nEthical and Spiritual Issues in Medicine and Health Care meets the necessary standards to provide 4 contact hours toward continuing educational credits for the following:\n\n\n	Social Workers ?
