DESCRIPTION:Appearing at Charles Smith Wines downtown Walla Walla tasting room (35 So. Spokane St.)\, on Saturday\, June 13th\, this much loved and locally crafted band will fill the room with die-hard fans and their version of 'roots-based electro-acoustic soul\, shot through with 'sultry\, feminine harmonies and a backdrop of wailing guitar rhythms and synergistic percussion.' This is the kind of music that makes you want to get up off that chair and groove to the music! This quartet features Hatti Moss doing vocals and rhythm guitar\; Sally Shafer also doing vocals\, plus bass and dobro (aka swamp box)\; Mike Borowski on drums and all things percussive\; and Bob Shafer playing lead guitar\, banjo\, mandolin\, ukulele\, and almost anything else. \n\n\n\nWhen their lead drummer-percussionist relocated last fall\, it appeared that their back porch stomping days might be coming to an end. Not SO! Back Porch Band will be reuniting for three-shows this summer\, BUT ONLY ONE OF THOSE WILL BE IN WALLA WALLA-specially this show for Charles Smith Wines' Open Case Sessions.\n\n\n\nDoors will open for concert-goers at 6pm on Saturday\, June 13th. The first set will begin at 7pm\, followed by a second set at 8pm. Seating will go quickly for this show\, so please show up early!
