This new celebration honors both local businesses and community leaders\, showcasing the incredible contributions they make to our vibrant region.\n\nThe Community Excellence Awards\, highlight a diverse range of achievements across various categories. We will recognize outstanding businesses and individuals who exemplify excellence and commitment to the community\, including:\nBusiness Awards:\n\n\n Agribusiness of the Year\n Business of the Year\n Duane Wollmuth Catalyst Award\n Non-Profit Organization of the Year\n Business Leader of the Year\n Future Business Leader (High School Graduating Senior)\n Entrepreneur of the Year\n\n\nCommunity Awards:\nHometown Heroes\n\n\n Educator of the Year\n Law Enforcement Officer of the Year\n Firefighter of the Year\n\n \n\nHigher Education Community Service Award\n\n\n Walla Walla Community College\n Whitman College\n Walla Walla University\n\n \n\nThe Community Excellence Awards will again take place on December 10th at the historic Baker Boyer Bank downtown location\, Walla Walla doors open at 5:30pm. The evening will be a celebration of our local spirit\, bringing together business leaders\, community advocates\, and residents to honor those who inspire us all.\n\nNominations for the awards are now open\, closing November 24th .We encourage community members to submit nominations to recognize the outstanding contributions of local businesses and individuals.
