The public is invited and encouraged to attend the groundbreaking\, dedication and fundraising celebrations planned for Wednesday\, May 1\, 2019. Suggested donation is $7.00.\n\n\n\nGroundbreaking for Gold Star Family Monument\n\nWednesday\, May 1\, 2019\n\nBeginning at 11:00am\n\nFort Walla Walla Museum   755 NE Myra Rd\n\nGroundbreaking ceremony at the corner of Dalles Military and Myra Roads.  Special guest speaker Hershel "Woody" Williams\, oldest MOH recipient from WWII\, Pacific Theater.\n\n\n\nGold Star Family Monument Fundraiser & Auction\n\nWednesday\, May 1\, 2019\n\nBeginning at 6:00pm\n\nFoundry Vineyards   1111 Abadie Street\n\nAll proceeds benefit Gold Star Family Monument at Fort Walla Walla.
