Held yearly\, it is a day for the family to come down to the museum to play games\, check out beautiful antique cars\, watch historical performances\, play mini golf\, meet a few authors and get their books signed and eat some FREE ICE CREAM! With your choice of strawberry or chocolate syrup topping who could say no to a bit of ice cream on a warm summer day. We will have a large set up for family games including Mini Golf which has been kindly donated by The Sweet Putt. This year we are happy to welcome the Walla Walla Historic Auto Club and the Walla Walla Sweet A's and their beautiful automobiles. Authors Wesley Hoskins and Sandra Stredwick will on site to sign copies of their books "An Organic Childhood" and "The White Stallion" in the museum store. We are also excited to announce that our Living History Company will be dancing from 1 pm ? 2 pm as the "French town Dance troupe" and at 2pm they will be having a gathering of all of their 19th Century characters in a "Town Meeting" to discuss the role of women in public life. Come and join us for this day of fun in the sun and see what's new at the old fort!
