DESCRIPTION:Join us for a morning of observing and writing about nature. The workshop is open to anyone 12 or older and requires no previous writing experience. Karen Kirkwood will lead several journaling activities that will deepen participants' involvement with the world around them. When we quiet ourselves and observe the details of place\, we are able to grow intimate with nature and make discoveries about the place and ourselves. We will have time to share our thoughts with others if we so choose. Karen has taught writing to all ages and currently teaches at Walla Walla Community College. She is an avid gardener and hiker.
