DESCRIPTION:Let kids see\, learn\, and explore at the Museum this summer with the Pioneers Kids Camp! This fun and educational day camp features guided activity stations that allow children ages 9 through 11 to experience life the pioneer way. Activities will include building a miniature wooden fort\, performing blacksmith chores in the Pioneer Village's shop\, creating a leather pouch\, going on a nature scavenger hunt\, exploring old-time musical instruments\, a special presentation by the Fort Walla Walla Museum Living History character William McBean\, and more! The cost of the camp is $30 ($25 for Fort Walla Walla Museum members). The fee includes lunch and an official souvenir. Pre-registration is required. The deadline for registration is July 13.
