DESCRIPTION:Providence Medical Group will offer a free 5K heart health run and walk with free T-shirts Aug. 29 along the Mill Creek Channel. No preregistration is being conducted. Onsite registration opens at 7:30 a.m.\, with free T-shirts to be given to the first 200 people. The run/walk begins at 8 a.m. The event starts and ends in Walla Walla Community College ball field parking lot along Tausick Way by the Mill Creek Channel. It?s intended to be a casual\, fun event\, not a race. Providence Medical Group is holding the run to encourage heart healthy summer activities in our community.
