Chesed Farms began supplying local mushrooms to Walla Walla in 2020 and has since become the largest gourmet mushroom producer within a three-hour drive of our community. Through this journey\, Sundown has gained a wealth of knowledge in mushroom cultivation\, sales\, and distribution. We'll cover a range of topics\, such as cultivation\, foraging\, the medicinal and nutritional benefits of mushrooms\, cooking with mushrooms\, the gourmet mushroom industry\, innovative uses of mushrooms\, the history of Chesed Farms\, and what the future holds for Chesed Farms. We'll also show you the mushroom growing process and offer a selection of fresh and freeze-dried mushrooms for purchase at the workshop's end.
