DESCRIPTION:Experience Walla Walla like never before on Sunday June 3rd for its FIRST EVER Summer Parkways event and Children?s Day! We hope you will join us as the Parks and Recreation Department\, Commitment to Community\, and a group of dedicated volunteers bring together music\, family friendly activities\, a bike safety event and rodeo for kids\, food\, fun\, and more! \n\nAlder Street will become Walla Walla's biggest and longest park for the afternoon! We?ll be opening Alder Street from Colville to Sasayama Drive (Pioneer Park) to all forms of non-motorized traffic from 1PM to 5PM!\n\nWe invite you to become part of this inaugural effort hosted by Summer Parkways and Children?s Day. In Pioneer Park\, there will be activities for children and adults of all ages. Hula hoops\, piñatas\, chair exercise\, yoga\, games\, and more\, as well as various demonstrations and information booths\, and MORE! Along with free water stations\, fresh fruit\, and light snacks for participants (while supplies last)\, food and drink vendors will be on hand for you to enjoy. Bring your feet\, your bike\, or any other means of non-motorized transport and be ready to PLAY in the STREET!
