DESCRIPTION:The Walla Walla Public Library invites you to "Tom Skerritt and the Red Badge Project" on Friday\, June 30 at 7 p.m. at Gesa Power House Theatre. The evening's presentation will feature readings by veterans\, an interactive exercise with writer Shawn Wong\, former Air Force pilots\, winemakers JJ and Kelly Menozzi\, and Tom Skerrit. Skerritt is best known for his roles in "Top Gun\," "Steel Magnolias" and "Picket Fences." Warren Etheredge will emcee the event. Wine from Aluv  Winery will be available by the glass.\n\n\n\nReserved seating tickets ($25) are available online or by calling the box office at 509-529-6500. Ticket proceeds from this event will benefit the Red Badge Project.\n\n\n\nThe Red Badge Project helps veterans tell their unique truths through storytelling. The Walla Walla Public Library is the only library in the nation chosen to participate in the Red Badge Project.
