A lot of artists fear watercolor because they aren't confident in their skills and don't understand how it works. This class will help build their confidence when working with watercolor and teach them everything they need to know about it. Each lesson we go over will teach them a new technique\, then have them practice that skill through fun examples and adorable projects. Each large project will be matted and put in plastic because every young artist needs to feel like a professional artist!\n\n\n\n \n\nWhat Your Artist Will Learn:\n\n \n\nHow to sketch out their drawings before painting\n\nBasic techniques in watercolor\n\nThe difference between different watercolor papers\n\nColor theory\n\nHow to gain more confidence as an artist\n\nHow to use waterproof pens with watercolor\n\nHow to take care of your brushes and watercolor pallet\n\nPlanning skills\n\nCreative problem solving\n\nHand-eye coordination\n\nSelf-confidence\n\nFine motor skills\n\nObservation skills?\n\n\n\n \n\nSupplies:\n\n \n\nEnable Art will supply everything your artist needs in this camp\, including a light snack!
