DESCRIPTION:Please join us this September for Washington state's first Women for the Land Learning Circle! This Learning Circle will be two parts that build off each other and we encourage participants to attend both if able. THEME: Regenerative Agriculture in the Walla Walla Valley: Your Land\, Your Leadership AUDIENCE: This Learning Circles is intended for people who identify as women and are stewards of agricultural land (either as a landowner\, producer\, or aspiring farmer) in the Walla Walla valley and surrounding areas. WHERE: Zoom WHEN: Two Parts! Tuesdays\, September 15 and 22\, 3-5 p.m. SPEAKERS: Jen Moore-Kucera\, Climate Initiative Director\, American Farmland Trust\; Annie Byerley\, Farmer with 5B Farms REGISTER: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJIvcu6tqzovGN0RYXtfgye381UB2oMHR2qi Build relationships with fellow women in agriculture in your community while exploring how to implement regenerative agriculture practices on your farm. Participants will share stories\, learn from peers\, and discuss how to overcome barriers together. Plus\, speakers will share information on regenerative agriculture practices best suited for the Walla Walla valley\, lived experiences on-the-ground\, along with the programs and support systems available to women farmers and landowners. You will have the chance to interact with resource providers during the Learning Circle sessions and will receive a packet of information on how to access technical assistance and resources in your area following the event.
