3rd Annual Tutus & Tapas

"An Invitation to the Ballet" is this year's theme for the 3rd annual Tutus & Tapas gala evening at the Gesa Powerhouse Theatre, Saturday, March 26, 2016. Festivities begin when the doors open at 6:00pm. Your ticket provides you with 6 tasty small bites and a complimentary glass of Amavi Cellars wine (or non-alcoholic beverage if you prefer). Wander the 3 levels in the Powerhouse and look for the themed, silent auction baskets; check out our marvelous wine wall; and then "take a chance" at the tutu board where your donation gets you the pick of what's behind the mini tutus on display. It could be a gift certificate at a local business or a special prize item. Enjoy the melodious sounds of WW symphony's first chair cellist, Mr. Ed Dixon, on stage as you sample the local culinary creations from Grandma?s Kitchen, Frosted ? the cupcake shop, Cugini?s Italian Imports & Deli and selections created by Executive Chef Caleb Moss of Sodexo at Walla Walla university catering. Then at 7:15pm come have a seat with your Invitation to the Ballet and watch the beauty and variety of seven specially choreographed dances performed by the youth dancers of the Danza Classica Ballet Company. Our extremely entertaining Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Thomas Beebe, is returning for the evening to introduce the program and assist with the live auction bidding: Three bottles of Cayuse wine, a private winemaker?s dinner for up to 6 guests at Amavi Cellars, and a private wine tasting for 6-8 guests at Pepper Bridge Winery. "Tutus & Tools" will again be up for bid - this offer brings you 4 dancers? dads for 4 hours on a Saturday - to help with household projects like that new deck you've been wanting! Plus a mounted print of the Tarzan Dan photograph on our posters, with accompanying letter of authenticity, will be available at auction as well.
