Charles Smith Wines brings an all new weekly series to town with a spin on an old classic. For the month of June, Blues & BBQ will become BLUEGRASS & BURGERS!
Featuring live bluegrass music from an assortment of regional acts and delectable food truck fare provided by Chef Dan Thiessen and the Western Culinary Food Truck, this exciting weekly event is sure to be the hit of the fast-approaching Summer of 2013.
On Thursday, June 6, kicking off this exciting new event will be Ryegrass String Band, one of Walla Walla's oldest and finest bluegrass acts. The group will play from the hours of 6-9pm and will feature their upbeat and danceable bluegrass and old time music for young and old alike to enjoy.
Chef Dan Thiessen plans to "beef up" his food truck menu with a wide selection of burgers available to the public throughout the evening, including a vegetarian option.
Charles Smith Wines, based in Walla Walla, Washington has received global acclaim including "Best New Wineries of the Last Ten Years" in Wine & Spirits Magazine and "Winery of the Year" in their annual buying guide. Smith was also named "Winemaker of the Year" by Food & Wine Magazine (in 2009) and by Seattle Magazine (in 2010).
