Join local 4-H archery leader Andy Day for a beginning archery lesson. You will learn the basics of archery such as stance, grip, finger position, drawing, and, of course, your aim and release. The class will be held at Lake Creek Camp in Logan Valley, 32 miles southeast of John Day. Lessons will run from 10am-2pm, lasting 1 hour each. Each lesson can accommodate up to 12 students, so bring your friends! Lunch and campsites for overnight stays are available at Lake Creek for a small fee if booked at least 10 days in advance.
