THE FESTIVAL OF SHORTS 2018 wwudrama invites you to the annual Festival of Shorts on March 3, 4*, 8, 10, and 11* at 8 p.m. (*2 p.m.) in Village Hall. Join us for a night of theatre and film that is sure to make you laugh, maybe make you cry, and guaranteed to entertain. This year’s festival will feature 4 short plays and 3 short films directed by students, faculty, and friends of Walla Walla University. Come see Wayne S. Rawley’s couple comedy, The Scary Question, and get to the heart of relationships, commitment, and zombies. Listen to David Ives’ chimpanzees wax philosophical in Words Words Words, and contemplate love lost in Robert J. Lee’s short film May-August. All are invited to join us at the festival for these and many more exciting productions. In keeping with tradition, wwudrama is collaborating with the Film/TV Program in the Department of Communication and Languages to present a group of first-rate student directors: Austin Mapa, Kisa McClosky, Regan Hinshaw, and Meghann Heinrich. This year our guest directors are Kaelyn Nelson, Jerry Entze, and Jeremy Reed. You can purchase tickets ($8-$10) and get directions to The Festival of Shorts at drama.wallawalla.edu.
