Providence will offer its annual free community drive-through adult flu shot clinic Oct. 12 at the Providence Southgate Medical Park, 1025 South 2nd Avenue, Walla Walla, from 9-11 a.m., or until the vaccines are gone. People can receive the vaccine without leaving their cars, and no appointments are necessary. People can also walk up to get a flu shot if they prefer. The clinic is sponsored by Providence St. Mary Medical Center and Providence Medical Group Walla Walla, in cooperation with the Walla Walla County Department of Community Health. The free flu immunizations are available to adults ages 18 and over. Please note that the clinic will not have children’s flu vaccine, FluMist or high dose vaccine.
