The Event This is a family-friendly event to benefit local people who have cancer. Registration includes your choice of a run, walk or cycling route, followed by a barbecue lunch from Wing and a Prayer and a beer or root beer from Burwood Brewing Company. Enjoy live music, good company and food & beverages to benefit a great cause. Departure times vary with event. Visit providence.org/granfondo for a full schedule. Use your Gran Fondo passport at neighboring businesses throughout the Airport District to enjoy fun promos and great deals through Gran Fondo weekend and a chance to win (2) round-trip tickets on Alaska Airlines. Wear any and all of the colors of cancer (the wilder, the better) to symbolize our purpose and celebrate survivors. Although the type of cancer that affects each of us may be different, we stand united to #FINISHCANCER. The Cause Proceeds provide local people who have cancer with gas cards, rent assistance, food vouchers and other help through the Good Samaritan Cancer Fund of Providence St. Mary Foundation.
