Disappointed because you missed Dez'Mon's last installation? Don't worry, this Friday DAMA welcomes back Dez'Mon Omega Fair, a Los Angeles based artist sojourning in Walla Walla, Washington, for Art Walk. Think poetry mixed with watercolor and rice paper - and a room that almost seems to breathe with the magic Dez'Mon incorporates into each and every painting. In a one-night installation and performance of their art and poetry, Dez'Mon takes us through their oeuvre: a polychromatic, whimsical assemblage of complicated line work; multi-colored saturation blur and bleed towards pleasure. Performance starts at 5 PM and repeats until 6 PM; latecomers are welcome to wander in. In a one-night installation and performance of their art and poetry, Dez'Mon takes us through their oeuvre: a polychromatic, whimsical assemblage of complicated line work; multi-colored saturation blur and bleed towards pleasure. Utilizing the patterns, complexities, and synchronicity found when painting with watercolors, an ethos of the present moment is galvanized and extracted from the art-making process and into the mundane: the day to day. Dez'Mon writes a cathartic body of literary work, poems: Letters From The Vine; in an installation and performance.
