Well-known local naturalist and educator Mike Denny will be giving a talk about the early European naturalists who came through the basin and explored this area. Mike Denny is a Quest instructor at Walla Walla Community College where he has taught for 16 years. He is the past President of Blue Mountain Audubon and sits on the board of the Community Council. He has recently been involved in the creation of the series “Secret Life of the Forest: The Northern Blue Mountains,” created by editor and photographer Daniel Biggs. Drawing on his vast wealth of knowledge of the Blue Mountain habitat, Denny’s writing and narration brings the beauty and splendor of the natural world to life. Museum After Hours is a free monthly lecture series that is open to the public. The presentation will begin at 5 pm in the Museum's Entrance Building.
