Watercolor painting is an old art. QR codes are relatively new technology. Blending old with new, Dayton painter Lorna Barth tells the story of each of her watercolor paintings through the QR codes she attaches to the back of originals, incorporates on the surface of prints, or creates as a separate piece of art. Each code link takes the viewer to a YouTube video that gives detail on the creation and meaning of the painting. Through May 31, Wenaha Gallery showcases Barth’s art with their corresponding QR codes.
