Growing in up Charles Russell country, artist Tobias Sauer dreamed of being a cowboy. Unable to fulfill the first dream he embarked on a second, better dream: painting the New West and the Old, focusing on rodeo, ranching, wildlife and the great outdoors. Sauer, who exhibits his work at major western shows throughout the country, is presently displaying a selection of western-themed paintings at Wenaha Gallery through September 22.
