Assistant Managers are the backbone of our clubs, by providing structure and stability to the daily operations and service experiences to all guests and members.
 
About the Assistant Manager Position:
 
An Assistant Manger is responsible for all aspects of delivering upon this expectation which will require a willingness to learn, the ability to find fulfillment in service, and a huge motor and sense of pride to build Club 24 into a staple of the community rather than another gym in town. Through the support and training of the leadership and management the Assistant Manager drives membership and employee growth and retention, supports facility cleanliness and operations, provides superior customer service, and is the resident expert on all equipment, products, services, events, and the businesses and the community of Walla Walla as a whole.

Key areas of Responsibility:

 

  • You are the face of Club 24 Walla Walla.

  • Aid in Hiring/Firing of all Club personnel including employee reviews. 

  • Collaborate with Management to establish stewardship goals and meet objectives.

  • Actively supervise day to day operations of the club. 

  • Actively supervise member programs – 30 day program, renewals, Accounts Receivable.  

  • SELL memberships and help your staff sell memberships.

  • SELL non dues items – personal training, group personal training, protein shakes, programs, retail and all other items non related to membership. 

  • Actively train your staff and have weekly meetings with your staff to gain a solid working team atmosphere. 

  • Consult with Member Accounts Specialist/Supplies Coordinator to ensure your club’s supplies and retail product needs are fulfilled.

  • Actively pursue ideas by utilizing staff and members about other programs or profit center ideas. 

  • Utilize your staff to upkeep your facility and equipment. 

  • Implement club programs and promotions at your club as directed.

  • Be actively involved in the community promoting Club 24.

  • Upkeep and cleaning of the facility as needed.

  • Be a positive force for the Club 24 image, and the positive face for your club especially. We welcome and encourage your active participation in Club 24 events and promotions.

  • Ensure property looks good. 

  • Assist in identifying and scheduling property repairs and maintenance. 

  • Social Media for your club.

  • Working to build relationships with the community and businesses of Walla Walla

  • Attend Chamber Meetings

Qualifications:

 
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with staff and customers.

  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability 

  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently

  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

  • Ability to learn detailed information about products and services quickly

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Windows

  • Ability to quickly learn a new software program

  • Customer service experience required

  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized a must

  • Should be friendly, fearless, outgoing and personable

  • Management and sales experience preferred

  • Able to speak Spanish is a plus.
     

    Wage:
     
    $20 per hour
