Fiestas Patrias - Benefit Concert
Shakespeare Walla Walla and the Walla Walla School District present "Fiestas Patrias" on Saturday, September 20, starting at 7:30 p.m. Regional performers will present a variety of Latin music and dance in the spirit of five patriotic Mexican holidays collectively known as Fiestas Patrias.
Headlining the evening's performance will be Tri-Cities band Fino, featuring Garrison Middle School Principal Robert Elinzondo. Other performers will include Walla Walla Ballet Folklórico, Salvador Hernandez, and Juilo Cesar.
Proceeds will benefit the Shakespeare Walla Walla education program and the Walla Walla Ballet Folklórico, an after school program teaching traditional Mexican dance to students at Garrison Middle School and Pioneer Middle School.
