TUESDAYS, 4:30-5:30pm (Ages 10-14)
11 Weeks: Oct. 4 - Dec. 13
In this Studio Art class, students will receive focused instruction in cartooning and illustration, exploring drawing styles inspired by well-known cartoons, comics, and movie animation. Students will draw and paint with diverse materials such as acrylic & watercolor paints and paint markers, ink and pens, pastels, and more. They will create expressive characters, paint landscapes and backgrounds that enhance imaginative stories and worlds, and practice established art styles like Japanese Manga and American Pop Art. Completion of artworks will be rolling, usually every 2-3 weeks. All artwork will be ready to take home as a portfolio at the end of the session.

Registration is for a full session, not individual classes. Registrations are accepted through the fourth (4th) Art Class, with prorated tuition for the remaining classes in the session.
