The Record Company is a roots/blues/rock trio based in Los Angeles. Steeped in the classic sounds of Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker along with the jump of Howlin' Wolf, The Record Company have burst onto the scene in a very short time, performing their first show in January 2012. While never trying to simply emulate the great masters, the band have found their own fresh take on the music and can best be described as a group giving a 21st century nod to a timeless art form.In 2012 Sean Flinn and (his band) The Royal We ranked in Paste Magazine?s Ten Oregon Bands You Should Listen To Now, where Luke Larson calls Flinn ?a tried-and-true singer/songwriter? who ?has picked up his own eclectic style of crafting pop songs along the way...". The Sudden Lovelys describe their unique and earnest sound as ?Aggressive Folk.? Daniel writes, plays guitar, ferociously sings, and kicks a vintage red suitcase.
