Sustainable Living Center Workshop Series:Landscaping with Native Species PART 1
Join SLC staff and our presenters for the first of a two part series on Landscaping with Native Species. Native species can be a wonderful lower maintenance and lower water option for your home. Part 1 will provide an overview of plants native to our area, design steps (creating a plot plan, performing a site analysis, etc.), design principles (form, texture, color, scale, etc.), planting and maintenance concerns, where to purchase native plants, and a question and answer session, all designed to help you start creating your own landscape plans. There is no charge to attend, however, class size will be limited and registration is recommended.
