'23 Public Workshop Series: Creative Mending and Clothing Repair
How can we use, repair, reuse, upcycle, and recycle clothes and fabric? Join us to learn techniques to mend and repair your clothing to prolong the life of an item and interrupt the fast fashion cycle. Bring your own clothes and projects to work on guided by teacher and artist Akiko Gilmore, who has taught hand-sewing, mending, crocheting, origami and recycled art projects in the community for years. We are so grateful to have Akiko share her expertise with our community through this workshop! Please JOIN US! This workshop is open to the public. Registration is required.
