Chamber After Hours Summer Series AI for Business: The Bigger Picture and the Practical Tools
Velvet Label Studios is presenting a workshop:
Artificial intelligence is no longer something happening somewhere else. It is already influencing how businesses communicate, solve problems, market their services, evaluate information, serve customers, and make decisions.
For many small and mid-sized businesses, the challenge is not whether AI will matter. It already does. The more important question is how to use it wisely, responsibly, and practically.
That is the focus of our next Chamber After Hours Summer Series session, hosted by Velvet Label Studios and led by owner Trevor Kendall.
This timely session will look at both the bigger picture and the day-to-day business applications of AI. Trevor will explore the relationship between AI, human intelligence, and community intelligence — and why the best use of new technology still depends on sound judgment, strong leadership, and real human connection.
The conversation will also address some of the most important issues surrounding AI adoption, including safety and security, legal and ethical considerations, and the environmental implications of emerging technologies. These are not abstract concerns. They are becoming part of how businesses protect their information, communicate with customers, manage risk, and make decisions about which tools to trust.
The second half of the session will focus on practical applications for business. Attendees will learn how AI tools can support ghost writing, marketing content, problem solving, leadership development, data analysis, customer service, review analysis, social media, advertising, sales trends, and even early-stage app development.
For business owners and managers, this means more than saving time. AI can help identify patterns, clarify priorities, improve communication, and support better decision-making. It can assist with analyzing which products, services, or customers are driving the majority of revenue. It can help review customer feedback, strengthen messaging, and create first drafts that still need the experience, voice, and judgment of real people.
Chamber After Hours is designed to make learning accessible, useful, and connected to the real needs of our business community. These one-hour summer sessions offer practical information, meaningful conversation, and an easy way to connect with other local professionals at the end of the workday.
