Civics 101: Let's Taco'Bout Civics

AAUW Walla Walla Public Policy Committee in partnership with Walla Walla Public Library and Secretary of State's Civics Education Program is pleased to bring this fun and informative morning of Civics curriculum for everyone. "This interactive workshop will explore the structure of state government in Washington State, how bills become law, and how you can track and participate in state government and the legislative process. We’ll use materials from Teach with TVW and the state legislature, with particular attention to policies impacting women." Open to AAUW members and the general public with lunch included! (FREE Taco lunch from La Monarca, vegetarian options available.)
