Live Cinema: "Romeo and Juliet" - Royal Shakespeare Company
The Live Cinema Series continues with a screening of the current Royal Shakespeare Company production of Romeo and Juliet on Wednesday, September 5 at 6:00 p.m. at Gesa Power House Theatre. The 2018 Live Cinema Series is sponsored in part by Shakespeare Walla Walla.
Set in a world very like our own, this Romeo and Juliet is about a generation of young people born into violence and ripped apart by the bitter divisions of their parents.
The most famous story of love at first sight explodes with intense passion and an irresistible desire for change, but leads all too quickly to heartbreaking consequences.
This production is filmed live in Stratford-Upon-Avon and rebroadcast internationally to select screens.
Reserved seating tickets ($15 Adults, $10 Students) are available online or by calling the box office at 509-529-6500. Beer, wine, and snacks will be available for purchase.
