Live Cinema: The Nutcracker

Gesa Power House Theatre presents a Live Cinema screening of The Royal Ballet's current production of "The Nutcracker," on Thursday, December 23 at 7:00 p.m.

"The Nutcracker" is a family favorite at Christmas time and is one of the most delightful ways to discover the enchantment of ballet. The story of Clara, a girl on a magical Christmas Eve adventure, is accompanied by sparkling music and even dancing sweets! Watch the full company of The Royal Ballet in this much-loved ballet classic.

Filmed during a live event, the Live Cinema Series broadcasts offer audiences an equivalent to the best seat in the house, with incredibly detailed close-ups of the performers. The Live Cinema Series is sponsored in part by Shakespeare Walla Walla.

This screening has an approximate runtime of 2 hours, 30 minutes, including an on-screen introduction and one intermission. Beer, wine, popcorn, and snacks will be available for purchase, and may be taken into the theater.
