Museum After Hours: Collections Management and Artifact Preservation
Fort Walla Walla Museum collections manager Laura Schulz has been working with the Museum for over 12 years. Schulz earned her BA in Anthropology from Whitman College and her M.A in Museum Studies from George Washington University. This presentation will include discussing about how the Museum takes care of its historic textiles including clothing, hats, and quilts. Schulz will also discuss what people can do at home to preserve their own items which overlaps with Museum procedures.
