NW Alpaca Showcase
Alpaca Shows open to public at Walla Walla Fairgrounds this weekend The Pacific Northwest Alpaca Association and the Alpaca Association of Western Washington will host their dual halter shows October 12th and 13th at the Walla Wall Fairgrounds. Breeders and their alpacas from throughout the Pacific Northwest will compete for top honors. The public is invited to attend this free, family-friendly event. Show ring competition begins at 9am both days. Guests may watch the judging, meet the alpacas, talk with breeders, shop alpaca retail vendors, and enjoy the festivities throughout the weekend. It’s an excellent opportunity to learn more about owning alpacas for fun and profit. Raised for their luxurious fiber, alpacas are easy-keepers… gentle, intelligent and eco-friendly. Many families are adding alpacas to their lives for the pleasurable rewards a rural lifestyle affords. For more information on alpaca ownership, and the shows, go to pnaa.org.
