Providence Medical Group Free Heart Fun Run

Providence Medical Group will offer a free 5K heart health run and walk Aug 3 at 7 p.m. along the Mill Creek Channel.

The event starts in Walla Walla Community College ball field parking lot along Tausick Way by the Mill Creek Channel. T-shirt pickup and registration on-site starts at 6 p.m. The run/walk starts at 7 p.m., but people may start early if they wish, take their time and enjoy sunset along the water. It’s intended to be a casual, fun event, not a race.
 
Water will be available at the halfway point. After the event, runners and walkers will be treated to ice-cold watermelon.
