Public Workshop Series: Solar Basics
Join us as we explore the basics of solar energy! We will present the basics of passive, thermal and photovoltaic (PV) solar energy resources and how they can be incorporated to offset energy expenses in your home. We’ll also discuss the current state of PV solar in our area, including tax credits, rebates and the impact of new tariffs. We will provide resources and next steps for participants who are considering installing thermal or PV solar at their home, farm, or business. Bob Skinner of AR Solar will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice from the field. A hands-on solar PV learning station will also be available for youngsters, or young at heart, to build circuits and experiment with solar PV on a small scale. Free and open to the public!
