Public Workshop Series: Upcycling for the Holidays
The holidays are a time for family and for giving. They can also be an opportunity to embrace new aspects of sustainable living. Join us to explore ideas for a sustainable holiday season. You will be inspired by examples of imaginative sustainable gifts featuring local resources. You will also complete a gift project or two to take home. Projects planned are scented beeswax candles in recycled glass vessels and change pouches hand-woven from natural fibers. All ages are welcome to join us for this brief lecture and family-friendly craft night. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required and capped at twenty-five. Register now at https://slcceep.wufoo.com/forms/k16f79di029mm9t/ or give us a call at (509) 524-5218.
