Rebecca Thorpe is the Engagement Lead for Blue Zones Project® –Walla Walla Valley. Rebecca is a mission-driven person who values health, wellness, and community. Blue Zones Project ties together her life passions. Over the last 20 years, she has honed her health and wellness skills as a fitness instructor, yoga teacher, aquatic director, and marketer. She also has experience working with local nonprofits, staging large and small events, working with volunteers, giving presentations, building websites, and filming and editing videos.
Originally from Reno, Nevada, Rebecca has lived in Walla Walla for over 20 years. She is busy raising teenagers and her dog and loves teaching yoga, walking, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
My Power 9
Family First & (working on) Plant Slant. I naturally make family first because they are my life! I also love to move naturally with friends and by myself to reconnect and get grounded. I am working on the Plant Slant and eating many more vegetarian dishes! It turns out—I love them!

Runway Market & Sparkling Cider Bar
After living in Gig Harbor, WA and working in the Travel Industry for 35 years, Cathy decided to move to beautiful Walla Walla and make a change in her career path. She began working part time at a few wineries and found that many customers were looking for local Sparkling Wine. Cathy and her partner Ken found a great opportunity in the Walla Walla Airport District and made the decision to open a Sparkling Wine Bar & Restaurant. They opened their business in August 2021 right during the pandemic not knowing if it would succeed. Much to their delight, the local community and visitors have been so supportive and their business is thriving. Cathy and Ken have many events now at the Runway Market including music, Walking Club and private parties.
Chloe Congleton

After Living in Spokane, Washington for over eleven years Chloe decided to move to the beautiful city of Walla Walla. She began working towards finishing her business degree and continued growing her art business. Since living in the Walla Walla Valley for the last 9+ years she has become the art teacher for Walla Walla Valley Academy. She has also been teaching summer art camps for kids, after-school art classes, and family painting nights for the community over the past 7 years.
Kim Heidenrich
Columbia Bank
Kim has been a resident of Walla Walla community and in the Banking Industry for the last 18 years. She has been active in her community including volunteering with several organizations and helping to serve on a board. She also has a Social network marketing business that she runs and has found that to be a new passion she never imagined. Her heart lies in giving back; to make an impact on the community that she lives in and watching it grow. Kim has one daughter at home and enjoys the fine arts of music, which is to include singing, playing piano, guitar and Cajón.
