The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the upcoming August Women in Business “Work Hard, Care Harder” taking place on Wednesday, August 14 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott in Walla Walla.
Guests will receive practical tips to build a life and career you love (on less than 7 hours of sleep a night) in this fun and engaging presentation with guest speaker Erica Walter. Learn to be present and harness your Mom-Powers at work and your Boss-Powers at home.
Tickets to this Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Luncheon Series event go on sale Friday, June 21 and are just $25 for Chamber Members and $35 for Chamber Guests. Attendees can expect to enjoy a delicious late summer salad with grilled chicken (optional), fall salad greens, cranberries, roasted root vegetable & green goddess dressing alongside fresh baked bread and dessert.
Guest Speaker Erica Walter, is a wife, a mother, and an enthusiastic story-teller. She is also a solopreneur, helping businesses increase their customer value through digital marketing programs like email and social media. Over the past decade, Erica has navigated the journey from career-focused single woman to career-focused business owner and mom of three kids under the age of 5. Erica loves to share what she has learned and encourage other women in the workplace who are struggling to balance all of the expectations societally, in the workplace, and in their relationships.
Women in Business is a new initiative from the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce established for women in business who wish to build a strong network of women intent on inspiring one another to achieve individual potential; support each other in business endeavors; and create a legacy through mentorship.This quarterly lunch meeting series provides dynamic speakers along with a networking platform that inspires, educates, and empowers women to grow and succeed in business and leadership.
