Walla Walla, WA – October 13, 2025 – The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to again host its annual awards ceremonies continuing with last year’s merger of the Business Awards Showcase and the Community Awards into a single event. This new celebration honors both local businesses and community leaders, showcasing the incredible contributions they make to our vibrant region.
The Community Excellence Awards, highlight a diverse range of achievements across various categories. We will recognize outstanding businesses and individuals who exemplify excellence and commitment to the community, including:
Business Awards:
- Agribusiness of the Year
- Business of the Year
- Duane Wollmuth Catalyst Award
- Non-Profit Organization of the Year
- Business Leader of the Year
- Future Business Leader (High School Graduating Senior)
- Entrepreneur of the Year
Community Awards:
Hometown Heroes- Educator of the Year
- Law Enforcement Officer of the Year
- Firefighter of the Year
Higher Education Community Service Award
- Walla Walla Community College
- Whitman College
- Walla Walla University
The Community Excellence Awards will again take place on December 10th at the historic Baker Boyer Bank downtown location, Walla Walla doors open at 5:30pm. The evening will be a celebration of our local spirit, bringing together business leaders, community advocates, and residents to honor those who inspire us all.
Nominations for the awards are now open, closing November 15th .We encourage community members to submit nominations to recognize the outstanding contributions of local businesses and individuals. Nominations link: https://www.wwvchamber.com/cea/
