Youth Watercolor Art Camp
(Kids Camp in College Place, WA)
Youth Camp: ages 10-16
Camp Date: June 27th-30th
Camp Time: 3-5pm
More About This Camp:
Watercolor camp is about becoming more confident with watercolor and how it works! A lot of artists fear watercolor because they aren’t confident in their skills and don’t understand how it works. This class will help build their confidence when working with watercolor and teach them everything they need to know about it. Each lesson we go over will teach them a new technique, then have them practice that skill through fun examples and adorable projects. Each large project will be matted and put in plastic because every young artist needs to feel like a professional artist!
What Your Artist Will Learn:
How to sketch out their drawings before painting
Basic techniques in watercolor
The difference between different watercolor papers
How to gain more confidence as an artist
How to use waterproof pens with watercolor
How to take care of your brushes and watercolor pallet
Creative problem solving
Fine motor skills
Enable Art will supply everything your artist needs in this camp, including a light snack! Your artist is always welcome to bring their own supplies if they choose, but are not required to.
